1. Purpose of the job

The principle objective of this job is to handle end to end warehouse operations including material inward from production, storage, dispatch to depots & system operations as per plant requirements

Continually improve its effectiveness in sustaining robust warehouse within the framework of and with compliance to Akzo Nobel HSES Standards & Guideline Notes, local statutory requirements and with site Vision and Objectives

2. Key responsibilities

Accountabilities & Functional Responsibilities

Daily follow up with transporter for vehicle status
Dispatch and Invoicing
GRN for transporter freight bills
Daily production and dispatch status update in SAP system.
Daily LPMH calculation for stacker drivers & all sites & regions consolidate data prepare monthly basis.
Daily FG stock calculation via MB52 transaction
GRN for transporter freight bills.

Monthly book vs physical & quarterly audit

Transporter meetings
Inventory Receipt Accuracy on weekly basis, MIS of variance for critical FG
Support in implementation of 5S and Kanban in FG warehouse.

Key Skills

Strong supervisory skills to handle team contractual employees & loading team
Well versed with material classification, handling & hazardous materials transport guidelines
Proficiency in SAP ECC PP/MM/QM, MS Excel, Power point
Knowledge on SIRE Code Management
Ability to anticipate hurdles in daily operations & action plan to tackle.

3. Level of autonomy

Quick decisions towards road blocks in daily operations without compromising on HSE&S, Quality & Integrity

4. Job requirements

B.com / Diploma in Material Management
2 – 3 years in similar role
Proficiency in MS office
SAP knowledge
