JOB TITLE Stenographer ( Short hand)

QUALIFICATION Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university of India. Certificate in Stenography is Compulsory CPCT certificate

EXPERIENCE

Knowledge of typing with a speed of at least 30 words per minute (Both Hindi & English) is essential.
Adequate knowledge in computer application (Minimum one year diploma course from any Govt. recognized institute) with experience recognized organization/companies working for at least 01 Year (relaxable in the case of deserving candidates).

ROLE AND RESPONSBILITY

To keep record of incoming/outgoing dak files/registers etc. to keep filing upto date to fix appointments to arrange meetings and collect information desired by the Officer to deal in a tactful manner with visitors and to attend telephone calls with courtesy
To maintain confidentiality and secrecy Prepare database of works
To type and take dictation in shorthand and to transcribe it accurately
To maintain a proper order of the papers required to be dealt with by the officer
Prepare database of works goods and services as also suppliers/vendors as well as maintenance agencies with complete information.
Assist in day to day office work including works of the concerning section of DDSSP.
Any other job that may be assigned to him/her from time to time by the rel orting officer.

Report To: The Concerning Officer.
