About the job

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare PEB structural designs, general arrangement drawings, and fabrication drawings.
2. Develop detailed drawings for columns, rafters, trusses, bracing, purlins, girts, and other structural components.
3. Prepare erection drawings, connection details, and shop drawings.
4. Generate bills of materials, cutting lists, and material take-offs.
5. Perform structural analysis and design according to applicable IS codes and project specifications.
6. Coordinate with production, fabrication, erection, and project teams.
7. Review architectural and client drawings and identify technical requirements.
8. Revise drawings based on client feedback and site conditions.
9. Ensure accuracy, proper documentation, and timely completion of assigned projects.
10. Optimize designs to achieve structural safety and economical material utilization.

Other requirements

1. Diploma/B.Tech. in civil, structural, or mechanical engineering.

2. Two years of relevant experience specifically in the PEB industry is mandatory.

3. Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant PEB design/detailing software.

4. Strong understanding of structural steel fabrication and erection practices.

5. Familiarity with IS codes, load calculations, and connection detailing.

6. Ability to prepare accurate BOMs and fabrication-ready drawings.

7. Good problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills.

8. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
