Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Planning Supervisor to lead and oversee production or supply planning operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising daily planning activities, coordinating with cross-functional teams, ensuring optimal resource allocation, and maintaining schedules to meet customer demand and operational targets. Strong analytical and communication skills are crucial for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage daily planning operations for production, supply chain, or logistics based on business needs.
Develop, implement, and adjust production or delivery schedules to meet deadlines and customer requirements.
Monitor material availability, manpower, and machine utilization to optimize workflow.
Collaborate with procurement, production, warehouse, and sales teams for efficient planning and execution.
Analyze capacity, lead times, and forecast demand to ensure timely availability of materials and finished goods.
Generate daily, weekly, and monthly planning reports for senior management.
Identify bottlenecks, delays, and production gaps and recommend corrective actions.
Maintain planning tools and ERP systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
Lead and train junior planners or support staff in executing planning processes.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning accuracy and operational efficiency.

Essential Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
3 to 5 years of experience in planning, scheduling, or supply chain in a supervisory role.
Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms).

Skills Required:

Strong understanding of production workflows, capacity planning, and supply chain coordination.
Proficiency in Excel, planning software, and ERP systems.
Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure.
Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
Knowledge of Lean, 5S, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
