Job Description

This position is a full-time on-site opportunity for a Rebar Detailer at DESIGNIX PMC in Salem, Tamilnadu. The primary responsibility of the Rebar Detailer is to produce precise drawings and blueprints for the reinforcement steel bars utilized in construction ventures. Collaborating closely with architects, engineers, and construction personnel, the Rebar Detailer guarantees the precision, safety, and practicality of the designs, utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software and other specialized tools for creating the drawings and bar bending Schedule.

· Jr. Rebar detailers – 10 Nos. (1 to 2 Years Exp.)

· Sr. Rebar detailers – 8 Nos. (2 to 4 Years Exp.)

· Team Leaders – 5 Nos. (4 to 6 Years Exp.)

· Sr. Rebar detailers (Work from home) – (Min. 5 Year exp. in UAE/GCC projects)

Responsibilities:

• Experience in UAE/GCC projects would be beneficial.

• Proficiency in CADS RC or other similar software would be advantageous.

• Generate rebar drawings that adhere to industry and company standards for various structures such as raft slabs, pits, slabs and beams, core walls, columns, etc.

• Produce accurate and detailed material lists for fabrication purposes. • Support in researching detailing, fabrication, and field-related issues.

• Collaborate with the site team and scheduling personnel to coordinate material deliveries and placement.

• Manage and account for any changes in the scope of work.

• Maintain precise records, ensure a desirable work environment, and provide excellent customer service.

• Proficient in British and Euro detailing codes.

• Solid understanding of RCC element detailing.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and technical skills.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and familiarity with computer and software programs. • Ability to analyze complex problems and evaluate potential solutions.

• Ability to comprehend site requirements, explain design plans and ideas, and meet deadlines.
