As an Electrician , you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems, wiring, and equipment. This role involves ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all electrical components, adherence to electrical codes, and contributing to the overall reliability of our infrastructure/products. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical principles, excellent diagnostic skills, and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

Installation & Wiring:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, controls, and lighting systems.
Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine wiring layouts.
Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
Install new electrical systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings as per project requirements.
Troubleshooting & Repair:
Diagnose and resolve electrical problems, short circuits, faulty wiring, and component malfunctions using appropriate testing devices (e.g., multimeters, clamp meters).
Perform timely and effective repairs to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.
Replace faulty circuit breakers, fuses, switches, light fixtures, and other electrical components.
Preventive Maintenance:
Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems and equipment to identify potential issues and ensure optimal performance.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubrication, and calibration of electrical machinery.
Identify and report potential hazards or necessary repairs.
Safety & Compliance:
Strictly adhere to all electrical safety codes, building regulations, and company safety policies (e.g., Lockout/Tagout procedures).
Ensure all electrical work is performed safely and to high quality standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of all electrical installations, maintenance, and repair work performed.
Document materials used, time spent, and any issues encountered.
Prepare and submit reports on electrical system status and recommendations for upgrades or repairs.
Collaboration:
Work effectively with other technicians, engineers, and production staff to coordinate electrical work and support overall operations.
Communicate clearly with supervisors regarding job status, material needs, and technical issues.
