As a Psychological Counsellor, you will be responsible for providing counseling services to students. This is a mid-level position with 4 to 6 years of experience. The job location is Latur, Maharashtra, India. The employment type for this role is both full-time and part-time, offering flexibility to suit your schedule.

Qualifications And Skills

M.A. or M.Sc. degree in Psychology.
Proven experience as a Psychological Counsellor
In-depth knowledge of counseling theories and techniques
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to empathize and build rapport with students, parents, and staff members
Knowledge of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and other counseling methodologies
Experience in working with children and adolescents
Certification or training in areas such as clinical psychology, pediatric psychology, mental health counseling, special education, or wellness coaching will be an advantage

Roles And Responsibilities

Provide individual and group counseling to students.
Assess the needs of individuals seeking counseling and develop appropriate treatment plans
Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine mental health needs
Offer guidance and support to individuals experiencing emotional, behavioral, or psychological issues
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive and nurturing environment
Provide crisis intervention and manage emergencies
