Key responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting:
Preparing balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports to provide a clear picture of a company's financial performance and position.

2. Auditing:
Examining financial records to ensure accuracy, identify discrepancies, and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.

3. Budgeting and Forecasting:
Developing and managing budgets, forecasting future financial performance, and analyzing variances to identify areas for improvement.

4. Tax Preparation and Compliance:
Preparing and filing tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, and minimizing tax liabilities.

5. Financial Analysis:
Analyzing financial data to identify trends, assess risks, and provide recommendations to management on financial matters.

6.General Ledger Management:
Maintaining the general ledger, ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial records.

7. Account Reconciliation:
Reconciling bank statements and other accounts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.

8. Cost Management:
Analyzing and controlling costs, identifying areas for cost reduction, and improving profitability.

9. Internal Controls:
Developing and implementing internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure the integrity of financial information.
