Overview

As a Microbiologist at our organization you will play a crucial role in conducting research and experiments to study microorganisms and their impact on various environments. Key Responsibilities

Performing microbiological testing and analysis on a variety of samples
Developing and validating microbiological methods and assays
Implementing quality control measures to ensure accuracy and precision in all analyses
Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment and instruments
Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to support product development and manufacturing processes
Assessing and interpreting data to generate accurate and reliable results
Preparing reports and documentation for internal and regulatory purposes
Conducting environmental monitoring and identification of microorganisms
Participating in root cause analysis and problemsolving activities
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance laboratory efficiency and effectiveness
Adhering to safety protocols and promoting a culture of compliance within the laboratory
Staying updated with industry trends and developments through continuous learning and professional development
Ensuring adherence to relevant regulatory standards and best practices
Training and mentoring junior staff in microbiological techniques and procedures

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Microbiology Biology or related field; Masters degree preferred
Proven experience in a microbiology laboratory setting preferably in a regulated industry
Strong knowledge of microbiological techniques including microbial culturing and identification
Experience in assay development and validation using microbiological methodologies
Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation with a high level of attention to detail
Familiarity with quality control principles and practices in microbiology
Ability to operate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instruments
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective reporting and documentation
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the microbiology field such as USP EP and FDA guidelines
Commitment to upholding high ethical and professional standards in all work activities
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fastpaced laboratory environment
Proficiency in relevant computer applications and software for data analysis and reporting
