Role Overview

As an Associate Director – Product, you will be accountable for growing the attachment rate of the ancillary products and services and increasing beyond-air attachments. You will be managing products, processes, delivery, marketing and ensuring the squad is working on items aligned to our strategy, quarterly initiatives, and objectives. The Digital team is responsible for the global strategy, products, and roadmap for Fareportal’s Air product (desktop, mobile web, apps, and messaging).

Responsibilities

Grow air ancillary attachment and sales, non-air attachments, by working closely with stakeholders from leadership, product, design, engineering, legal, finance, marketing, and operations group.
Develop product roadmap and plans along with other squads/tribes, ensuring alignment with company growth goals.
Coordinate major product initiatives across teams to ensure dependencies are aligned and features are delivered timely.
Develop revenue growth plans and KPI targets by partnering with pricing, finance, marketing, and other teams, analyze and optimize metrics performance by taking timely actions to facilitate targets achievement.
Launch new ancillary products and services and add to Fareportal’s product portfolio by partnering with stakeholders.
Drive qualitative and quantitative analysis to identify key customer needs, target audience, create value proposition through right product creation and personalization techniques.
Work closely with designers, UX, engineering and QA to ensure products are delivered timely and to a high standard.
Build A/B testing plans, perform multivariate testing, analyze, optimize, personalize to drive cohort-based product offerings.
Track product/feature performance, monitor A/B tests post launch to identify areas of improvement.
Identify customer pain points and opportunities and build and communicate an executable product roadmap that balances value creation, business value, timelines, development complexity.
Own our industry and non-industry competitor review process as an input into our product roadmap.
Arrange team ideation workshops, planning sessions and hackathons to generate new ideas or refine existing ones.
Own the product development process from start to finish, ensuring stories are well defined in advance of the sprint.
Peer review user stories, acceptance criteria, agile ceremonies, A/B test plans and post launch performance monitoring.

Requirement

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, MBA and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline preferred.
8+ years of product management experience working on B2C products, preferably with ecommerce or travel products.
Extensive experience with AB testing for a high traffic websites and mobile apps, launching new products and services.
Experience translating a business vision into detailed requirements, communicating with business and technical audience.
Ability to work well with diverse stakeholders in a team environment with minimal supervision, achieve timely deliveries.
Analytically driven with a test and learn bias, experience with recording, measuring and optimizing performance.
E-Commerce or technology start up experience, travel products experience a plus.
Overall strong, product, technology, and business processes awareness and willing to recommend those improve product quality and team productivity.
Strong communication skills, verbal/spoken and written.
Proactive and willing to call out issues and suggest changes to management.
Comfortable working within cross-functional product organization with matrix reporting structure.
