Functional Consultant - Finance

Position Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Functional Consultant - Finance to join our development team. This role is perfect for individuals with an M.Com (Master of Commerce) degree and a strong background in Computer Applications, who are eager to dive into financial systems and business process development. This entry-level position does not require prior experience but demands a solid understanding of Accounting and Finance, combined with technical proficiency and a passion for creating efficient financial solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and develop financial workflows and system functionalities.
Gather and document business requirements, translating them into functional and technical specifications for system development.
Participate in the development and customization of financial modules within ERP systems or financial platforms, ensuring they meet business and compliance needs.
Develop and execute testing plans to validate system configurations, identify issues, and ensure seamless performance of financial modules.
Support the integration of financial systems with other business modules or external platforms, ensuring smooth data flow and functionality.
Provide end-to-end technical and functional support during project lifecycles, from requirement gathering through implementation and post-deployment.
Contribute to the development of user interfaces and workflows for accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting processes.
Create and maintain technical and functional documentation, ensuring all configurations, customizations, and processes are thoroughly documented.

Required Qualifications:

M.Com (Master of Commerce) with expertise in Computer Applications, focusing on Accounting and Finance.
Knowledge of software development methodologies, SQL, and financial system customization.
In-depth understanding of accounting principles, financial processes, and reporting standards.
Strong analytical skills for identifying system improvement opportunities and implementing effective solutions.
Ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
