Job Purpose: The Circle Lead (Projects)-SM is responsible for driving overall commercial operations and ensuring the efficient execution of key functions within the unit, including New Connection (General Unit), Meter Management, and Recovery. This role entails comprehensive oversight of daily functional operations, monitoring, and control of commercial processes to meet organizational objectives. The Project Circle Lead ensures seamless coordination between teams, adherence to regulatory compliance, and the optimization of workflows to enhance operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and revenue recovery. By leveraging data-driven insights and a strategic approach, the role supports continuous improvement, aligns cross-functional efforts, and fosters a culture of accountability and excellence.
Responsibilities
Circle Lead (Projects)-SM
Strategic Leadership And Planning
Lead reverse migration initiatives to recover TPC's changeover customers by developing customer-centric strategies and ensuring effective implementation.
Strengthen compliance and operational consistency by embedding SOPs and Quality Management Systems across all functions.
Operational Excellence
Enhance operational efficiency by establishing clear performance benchmarks for material receipt, issuance, and inventory management, ensuring seamless workflows and alignment with organizational goals to reduce operational bottlenecks and improve productivity.
Improve system reliability by leveraging data-driven insights to optimize meter functionality, ensuring timely replacement and maintenance, reducing losses, and enhancing accuracy across all units.
Governance, Compliance, And Risk Management
Ensure accuracy and compliance by overseeing the seamless execution of SRA verification and Joint Meter Reading (JMR) processes in line with operational standards.
Improve safety and quality benchmarks by driving adherence to safety protocols and quality processes across unit and divisional levels.
Technology And Innovation
Drive adoption of digital transactions by leading awareness campaigns, workshops, and customer engagement initiatives to increase cashless payment adoption rates.
Enable performance monitoring and strategic decision-making by leveraging technology, including existing software and MIS tools, to generate actionable insights and reports.
Financial Management
Enhance financial performance by monitoring overdue amounts and driving consistent progress toward revenue recovery targets.
Align budgets with strategic priorities by evaluating project costs, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring financial efficiency.
Drive measurable reductions in overdue amounts by analyzing trends across categories and buckets, setting strategic recovery targets, and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Achieve revenue recovery goals through the design and execution of targeted strategies that improve operational efficiency and customer engagement.
Stakeholder Management
Foster collaboration across internal teams by addressing operational challenges, aligning priorities, and ensuring seamless execution of initiatives such as new connections and process improvements.
Strengthen organizational reputation and operational continuity by building positive relationships with local politicians, NGOs, and regulatory authorities while proactively addressing objections and community challenges.
Team Management
Enhance team capabilities and leadership development through comprehensive training programs in Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), digital payments, and operational excellence.
Cultivate a robust leadership pipeline by identifying and mentoring high-potential individuals. Ensure that departmental activities are goal-oriented and outcomes are monitored to align with corporate objectives, contributing to sustained organizational success.
