Responsibilities:

Develop and execute territory-specific sales strategies to achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
Lead, mentor, and evaluate a team of sales representatives, ensuring consistent performance and professional development.
Identify and pursue new B2B opportunities with commercial, industrial, and institutional clients in the solar energy space.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and partners across diverse industries.
Collaborate with technical and project teams to deliver customized solar solutions that align with client requirements and project timelines.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to refine sales approaches and improve positioning.
Prepare and present detailed sales forecasts, performance reports, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

Requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in B2B sales, with at least 3 years in the renewable energy, solar, or clean technology industry.
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and managing high-performing sales teams.
Strong understanding of solar energy systems, including commercial and industrial photovoltaic (PV) solutions, incentives, and financing models.
Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to engage C-level executives.
Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and data analysis.
Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory to meet clients and support field teams.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
Knowledge of local and federal solar incentives, tax credits, and regulatory frameworks is a plus.
