Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and results-oriented Area Manager – Term Insurance to drive business growth and manage sales operations across Kurnool.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Life Insurance / Term Insurance sales, team management, business development, field sales, distribution, and target achievement.

The candidate should have a strong understanding of the Kurnool/Andhra Pradesh insurance market and the ability to lead sales teams while consistently achieving business targets.

Key Responsibilities

Drive Term Insurance / Life Insurance sales across the assigned area and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual business targets.
Manage, guide, and motivate the frontline sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
Set clear sales targets and monitor team performance on a regular basis.
Conduct regular performance reviews and implement corrective action plans wherever required.
Recruit, onboard, train, coach, and develop sales team members.
Drive productivity, conversion, revenue generation, and overall team performance.
Develop and execute effective sales strategies to increase business growth and market penetration.
Build and strengthen distribution channels across Kurnool and the surrounding territory.
Identify new business opportunities and generate revenue through effective market development.
Maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and key stakeholders.
Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and local business opportunities.
Ensure adherence to company policies, sales processes, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements.
Take ownership of team productivity, business performance, and revenue growth within the assigned area.

Team Management Requirements

Prior experience in sales team handling and people management.
Ability to manage, coach, and motivate frontline sales executives.
Strong experience in performance management and target-driven sales environments.
Experience in building and developing high-performing sales teams will be preferred.

Mandatory Candidate Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in Life Insurance / Term Insurance sales.
Strong experience in sales and business development.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in team handling / people management.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding business targets.
Strong knowledge of Term Insurance / Life Insurance products, sales processes, and distribution models.
Good understanding of the Kurnool/Andhra Pradesh insurance market.
Telugu language proficiency is mandatory.
Good English communication skills.
Strong leadership, coaching, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
Strong field-sales and relationship-management capabilities.
Immediate joining is mandatory.

Preferred Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Term Insurance / Life Insurance sales, team handling, business development, and market expansion.

Candidates with prior experience as Area Manager, Sales Manager, Branch Manager, Territory Manager, or equivalent sales leadership roles in the insurance industry will be preferred.
