We are seeking skilled Mechanical Design Engineers with a strong background in furniture design and proficiency in CAD software. The ideal candidate will have a B.Tech or M.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with 4-8 years of relevant experience in mechanical design, particularly using 2D and 3D modeling software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop furniture products from concept through to production.
Create detailed 2D and 3D designs and manufacturing drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
Collaborate with the production team to ensure design specifications are translated into functional, manufacturable products.
Conduct material selection and analysis to ensure durability and sustainability.
Implement design changes and improvements based on feedback from stakeholders and testing results.
Manage multiple projects, adhering to timelines and budget constraints.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and materials.
Provide technical guidance and support to other team members.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
4-8 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in the furniture industry or related fields.
Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks or equivalent CAD software.
Strong understanding of materials and manufacturing processes relevant to furniture design.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively and innovatively.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with an ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
