Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and driven Senior React Native Engineer to join our lean and agile team. In this role, you will take complete ownership of our mobile application, which enables live consultations, health tracking, and e-commerce for Ayurvedic products. You will be instrumental in building features from the ground up, ensuring a seamless experience for users seeking holistic wellness.
What You'll Do
Product Ownership & Vision: Take ownership of core mobile features from ideation to launch, shaping the user experience for wellness seekers.
Full-Stack Mobile Development: Architect and build high-performance cross-platform mobile apps using React Native for Android and iOS.
From 0 to 1: Lead development of new features like live consultations, AI-powered wellness recommendations, and personalized dashboards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Ayurvedic experts, product managers, designers, and backend engineers.
Performance Optimization: Ensure app speed, responsiveness, and memory optimization for smooth health consultations.
Native Module Integration: Build and integrate native modules for specialized mobile functionalities.
API Integration: Integrate with RESTful and GraphQL APIs for real-time data flow between doctors, patients, and the platform.
Code Quality: Maintain high-quality code through best practices, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
Research & Innovation: Stay up to date with trends in mobile development and health tech innovations.
Mentorship: Optionally mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of learning.
What You'll Bring
1+ years of experience building and deploying React Native apps for both Android and iOS.
Proven ability to own products or features from concept to launch.
Hands-on experience with JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
Strong knowledge of React Native principles, state management (Redux, Context API, etc.), and performance optimization.
Experience with RESTful API integration; GraphQL experience is a plus.
Familiarity with app build processes (Xcode, Android Studio, Gradle).
Experience with Git and modern development workflows.
Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX best practices.
Experience working in fast-paced startup environments.
Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and collaboration skills.
Bonus Points For
Experience with telemedicine or health-tech mobile apps.
Knowledge of Ayurveda or holistic wellness systems.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Fastlane or GitHub Actions.
