Position: MD Psychiatrist Consultant

Location: Kullu, Himachal Pradesh

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced MD Psychiatrist Consultant to join our healthcare team in Kullu, Himachal Pradesh. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with mental health disorders, ensuring high standards of care and ethical practice.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct detailed psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.

Diagnose and treat a wide range of mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, psychosis, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders.

Prescribe and monitor medications, adjusting as needed for optimal patient outcomes.

Provide psychotherapy and counseling as appropriate.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychologists, social workers, and primary care physicians.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with medical regulations.

Participate in mental health awareness programs and community outreach initiatives.

Ensure patient confidentiality and adherence to professional ethical standards.

Qualifications & Requirements
MD in Psychiatry from a recognized institution.

Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) / State Medical Council.

Proven clinical experience in psychiatric practice.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Work Schedule
Full-time, 6 days a week (timings to be discussed during interview).
