As a Web Application Security Assessment Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the ADCI Governance team in conducting web application security assessments
Your main focus will be on Threat and Vulnerability Management (TVM) activities related to web applications
You will work closely with the ADCI Governance team to ensure the security posture of web applications, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend appropriate remediation actions

Roles and Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive web application security assessments using industry-standard methodologies.
Perform vulnerability scanning and analysis on web applications.
Identify security weaknesses and potential threats in web applications.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure security best practices are followed throughout the software development lifecycle.
Work with the ADCI Governance team to create and maintain security assessment documentation.
Stay updated with the latest security threats and vulnerabilities in web applications.
Assist in the design and implementation of security controls for web applications.
Conduct security awareness training sessions for relevant stakeholders.
Participate in security incident response and provide technical expertise in resolving security incidents related to web applications.
Communicate assessment findings and remediation recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.

- Proven experience in web application security assessment and vulnerability management.

- Knowledge of industry-standard security assessment tools and methodologies.

- Familiarity with web application development frameworks and programming languages.

- Understanding of common web application vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

- Relevant security certifications (eg, CISSP, CEH) are a plus.
