Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Counselor at Chanakya IAS Academy in Ranchi. The Counselor will be responsible for providing guidance and support to students in their IAS preparation journey. The day-to-day tasks may include conducting counseling sessions, assessing students' needs, providing information on course offerings, assisting with course selection, and monitoring students' progress. The Counselor will also be involved in organizing seminars and workshops to facilitate students' holistic development.

Key Responsibilities:

Student Counseling: Provide personalized counseling sessions to prospective students either in person, over the phone, or through online channels. Understand their educational background, career goals, and aspirations to recommend appropriate courses or programs offered by the academy.
Sales Support: Actively participate in the sales process by effectively communicating the value proposition of Chanakya IAS Academy's courses and programs. Assist in converting inquiries into enrollments through persuasive and informative interactions.
Relationship Building: Develop and maintain positive relationships with prospective students, ensuring a high level of trust and credibility. Address their queries and concerns promptly, providing accurate information about course curriculum, faculty, infrastructure, and other relevant details.
Follow-up: Implement a systematic follow-up process to nurture leads and maintain ongoing communication with potential candidates. Keep track of all interactions and update the CRM system regularly to ensure effective lead management.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to devise strategies for lead generation, conversion, and retention. Provide feedback on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and suggest improvements based on insights gathered from student interactions.
Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics related to the education sector. Use this knowledge to tailor counseling sessions and address prospective students' concerns effectively.
Administrative Tasks: Assist in administrative tasks such as maintaining student records, preparing reports, and coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth functioning of counseling operations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Education, Marketing, Psychology, or a related field.
Proven experience in counseling, sales, or customer service roles, preferably in the education sector.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong sales acumen with the ability to influence and persuade.
Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant tools.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Flexibility to work on weekends or evenings as required.
