Our company is looking for a Store Keeper to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and train store staff;
- Ensure that the store is kept clean and organized;
- Mediate any confrontations between staff and clients, and de-escalate the situation;
- Keep a record of sales and restock the store accordingly;
- Plan promotional campaigns for new products or specials;
- Rotate stock and coordinate the disposal of surpluses;
- Receive, unload, and shelve supplies;
- Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies; report those to accounting for reimbursements and record keeping;
- Maintain receipts, records, and withdrawals of the stockroom;
- Perform other stock-related duties, including returning, packing, pricing, and labeling supplies;
- Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control;
- Coordinate the handling of freight, the movement of equipment, and necessary minor repairs.
Requirements:
- A high school qualification or equivalent;
