Our company is looking for a Technical Writer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Writing guest posts for numerous websites in order to attract visitors;
  • Providing content for eBook descriptions or landing pages;
  • Develop and maintain detailed databases of appropriate reference materials, including research, usability tests, and design specifications;
  • Follow technical writing style guides and DITA concepts;
  • Representing User Assistance topics in scrum meetings;
  • Carry out technical writing functions independently;
  • Defining user-friendly, consistent UI texts by putting yourself in the shoes of the customer;
  • Technical writing in software Domain;
  • Create and maintain the information architecture in chapters;
  • Must have good experience in Technical Writing;
  • Create deliverables that address the needs and preferences of the target audience for a given SAS product or offering;
  • Ability to gather information from documents, analyze the information, and extract only the required information for different types of deliverables;
  • Responsible for providing technical document for new developed features on expected time with defined quality standards;
  • Develop user documentation of the Tact product suite for each release, including user functions and administration;
  • Accomplish assigned tasks using own discretion and judgment as to the specific approach or technique.

Requirements:

  • Ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment;
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail;
  • Ability to quickly grasp and distinctly explain technology and business concepts to non- technical users;
  • 2-4 years’ industry experience as an effective technical writer;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • A bachelor’s degree from a top university;
  • The ability to convey complex technical topics in a simple way (no jargon allowed );
  • Graduation in a technical stream;
  • Experience of working with SMEs and cross-functional teams;
  • Minimum of 5 to 10 years of meaningful experience in the Telecommunications or Networking industry;
  • The ability to quickly learn and use new software applications;
  • A technical predisposition and the desire to learn;
  • Superb oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills;
  • Empathy for our users with an aptitude for using this to create content that resonates and engages;
  • Experience with content management systems, DITA-based XML authoring and/or structured authoring.
