Technical Writer User Assistance Developer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Technical Writer User Assistance Developer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide estimates, key deliverables, and milestones within a given release;
- Own the content lifecycle for one or more product areas, including quality assurance measures for your deliverables;
- Deliver user assistance assets that enable users to deploy, administer, and use SAP software;
- Develop a deep understanding of the software and target audience, and use appropriate language style and tone;
- Work in close cooperation with development, product management, customer support, UX design, and other SAP teams to produce high-quality deliverables.
Requirements:

- Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills;
- Graduate in Engineering / MCA or similar;

- Experience with DITA or other topic-based authoring methodology is a plus;
- Experience writing task-oriented content;
- Ability to manage priorities, and a proactive approach to resolving problems and delivering results;
- Ability to engage with multiple stakeholders within SAP;
- Flair for learning technology topics;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- History of working in cross-cultural, global teams;
- Experience creating e-learning solutions is a plus.
