Our company is looking for a Social Media Content Writer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Creative enough to select appealing images and videos to complement text;
  • Has to edit SMS which has to be sent to parents from the school;
  • Develop engaging content for articles, blogs, stories and social media to entice and engage audience;
  • Rewrite, paraphrase or write content from scratch depending on specific instructions provided in the work order;
  • Will also co-ordinate Incharges for the necessary updation regarding the Secondary and Sr Secondary information on the website;
  • Copy, edit and proofread content created by other content writers to provide detailed feedback;
  • To co-ordinate with In-charges of all the branches and get the content from them and edit it to the understandable language of the parents/viewers;
  • Will upload the class photos, Topic of the week, Talent of the week, EVENTS , on a day-to-day basis;
  • Will have to deal with media/PR issues when required in co-ordination with the concerned;
  • Able to respond to questions and comments on our social media pages in a timely and accurate manner;
  • Skill to develop and apply advertising techniques to boost brand awareness;
  • Proofread content for errors or additions and ensure that content is written per instructions;
  • Think up titles for each piece of content keeping appropriateness in check;
  • Will be responsible for filling in the ranking form for different organizations and magazines;
  • Will co-ordinate with the Headmistress- Primary CBSE and Cambridge for the above and ensure that the websites are updated every day.

Requirements:

  • Candidate with excellent communication skills and who is creative in thoughts and writing;
  • Should be willing and open to learn;
  • Should also be able to do editorial works;
  • Position attitude and open to take feedback;
  • Knowledge of digital media marketing tactics, email marketing and web analytics;
  • Should be capable of managing and overseeing the creation and publishing of relevant, original, high-quality content in a timely manner;
  • Skill to optimize social media posts (language, tone, message) based on our target audience’s behaviors;
  • Proactive and ability to think fast;
  • The ability to consistently meet tight deadlines;
  • Ability to use data driven insights to write better material.
