SEO Content Writer Job Description Template

Our company is looking for a SEO Content Writer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Involve in complete research-based writing;
  • Suggest relevant content to drive traffic to the website;
  • Experience in WordPress and Blogger (preferred);
  • Researching trending topics within a variety of industries;
  • Slideshare content creation;
  • Support Social Media & Brand requirement to meet organization goal;
  • Press release writing (as well as other forms of PR–media pitches, articles, etc.);
  • Collaborate with SEO department to develop content that best reflects needs and goals of clients;
  • Researching and organizing facts to Create concise, eye-catching, and innovative SEO content;
  • Optimizing current copy on a client’s website (page titles, meta descriptions, h1s, alts, anchor text, etc.);
  • Edit and proof-read all copy to maintain proper grammar and structure;
  • Produce error-free content that adheres to the company’s style guidelines and ensure consistency across websites;
  • The ability to multitask and adhere to deadlines;
  • Research & write creative SEO content for Inditab;
  • Maintain and update website properties.

Requirements:

  • Google Search Console;
  • Good knowledge of SEO writing, SEO tools and keyword search;
  • Link building;
  • Experience in content marketing;
  • Experience leveraging SEO and keyword density standards to create content;
  • Proven ability to follow style guidelines consistently;
  • Flexible to write content for blogs, articles, and Reviews based on the requirements;
  • Fair understanding of SEO and SEO tools and strategies viz. keywords, meta data, tags etc;
  • Excel write up skills with unblemished grammar;
  • Pay Per Click (PPC);
  • Knowledge of various digital marketing multiple channels such as PPC marketing, email, social media and content marketing is preferred;
  • Good knowledge and grasp over SEO techniques and digital marketing;
  • Digital Marketing;
  • Minimum 1 year of experience writing SEO focused content for the web;
  • Excellent command over the English language; strong grammar; versatility in writing styles.
