Our company is looking for a Associate / Sr. Associate – Telugu Lyrics & Annotations to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a professional working relationship with colleagues;
- Generate interesting trivia related to the music;
- Annotate/Explain Telugu lyrics on a daily basis;
- Proofread to make sure content generated is accurate and appropriate;
- Escalate issues to the team manager when appropriate;
- Create weekly list of songs to annotate;
- Assist team manager and JioSaavn management with special projects when necessary;
- Provide flexible support for team members and other JioSaavn teams and foster a positive and motivating environment;
- Transcribe lyrics as well as correct them wherever applicable;
- Translation and transliteration of Telugu lyrics in English;
- Work effectively to achieve individual, team and company objectives.
Requirements:
- High energy and an entrepreneurial spirit;
- Familiarity with the digital music space;
- Be highly self-motivated and well organized;
- Extremely fluent in both Telugu & English. (spoken and written);
- Openness when it comes to annotating different styles of songs;
- Impeccable internet research skills;
- Be able to see other people’s points of view and take on board feedback;
- Experience in music journalism/literature background would be ideal;
- Ability to think on one’s feet, cope with multiple projects and deadlines;
- Work well in a team and with a range of creative people;
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines;
- Be able to work under pressure and manage workloads effectively;
- Friendly, polite and tactful nature;
- Must be able to handle multiple projects in an organized manner;
- Passionate and takes pride in quality of output.
