Lead Analyst, Treasury and ALM Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Lead Analyst, Treasury and ALM to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Handling ad-hoc requests and ability to perform under on demand situations;
- Working with onshore team to create and analyze NII impacts for different Balance sheet strategies;
- Involved in projects towards automation of reporting processes;
- Preparing presentation deck for senior management, ALCO & for other committee meetings;
- Perform IRR Models Backtesting and Benchmarking;
- Run Balance Sheet analytics using Quantitative Risk Management (QRM);
- Mentor junior analysts and coordinate projects/tasks across the team;
- Run control processes to ensure error free analytics for IRR BAU and CCAR;
- Ensuring timely preparation and delivery of ALM reporting including NII (Net Interest Income) and EVE (Economic Value of Equity).
Requirements:
- An MBA or CPA is preferred;
- Mentor junior analysts and coordinate projects/tasks across the team;
- Knowledge of advanced accounting and finance concepts and analysis techniques, and the ability to apply them in a broad business area;
- Ability to understand and design financial models;
- Undergraduate degree in Economics, Accounting or Finance with 4+ years of related experience;
- Ability to provide concise, accurate written reports/memorandums;
- Ability to make effective oral presentations;
- Handling ad-hoc requests and ability to perform under on demand situations.
