Senior Product Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring smooth release: Coordinate product releases among the engineering, marketing, customer success and sales teams;
- Experience with working with teams across geographies is a must;
- Strong problem solving skills and willingness to think outside the box and roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done;
- Coordinate go-to-market strategies when launching a new product or feature;
- You will also conduct market and customer research to identify possible features or releases;
- Engage stakeholders in leadership, research, data, and support, and a coordinate across teams to maintain product and strategy alignment;
- Produce high-level product requirements, iterate with your design and engineering teams;
- Managing product alliances: Select and maintain relationships with technical vendors, such as email service providers;
- Maintain and update existing features;
- Familiarity with different technologies and agile software development methodologies is also a plus.
Requirements:
- Excellent social skills and experience leading complex enterprise partnerships;
- A strong customer first attitude and passion for product design and design thinking;
- Proven ability to work with sales and sales engineering teams;
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation abilities;
- Strong partnering & teaming behavior to bring together diverse views;
- 3+ years of Product Management experience in Hyperconverged Infrastructure or storage domain;
- A roll up the sleeves approach to getting the job done;
- Experience with SaaS based product and/or services and DevOps workflows;
- Confident decision-making with the ability to influence internal and external partners;
- Strong analytical skills and a natural predisposition toward data-driven decision making;
- 3+ years of prior Product Management experience.
