Director – Internal Communications Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Director – Internal Communications to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a unique Employee Value Proposition and act as an evangelist to current and prospective employees;
- Own and develop an employee portal that serves as a “one-stop-shop” for employee information and communication;
- Work cross-functionally with the Icertis Corporate Communications team to align on communication goals, social media strategy and messaging;
- Collaborate directly with Icertis’ leadership team on Executive Communications;
- Leverage all media types including written, video and audio to capture stories that tell the story of Icertis’ unique culture;
- Be the point person for messaging and content for recruiting events, fairs and drives.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in setting goals and developing ways to measure those goals;
- Technology industry experience preferred;
- Track record of building and scaling communications programs at complex, global organizations;
- Ability and agility to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment;
- Demonstrated ability to build strategies aligned with business goals and company culture;
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience;
- Strong expertise and leadership skills, and aptitude to take informed, creative risks;
- Ability to influence in multiple ways and build credibility quickly with key stakeholders and peers;
- 7+ years of heading up a global internal communications function and/or managing a global communications team;
- Confidence, polish and poise to work closely with senior executives;
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
- Outstanding ability to capture the company’s voice and elevate content and presence.
