Responsibilities:
- Manage recruitment, coaching, goal setting and performance monitoring of sales agents;
- Work within current business strategies and recognising potential opportunities;
- Answer customer queries in a timely and suitable manner;
- Ensure the Sales Team Members are developed effectively and generate a culture of high quality standards and pro-active selling;
- Contribute to the selling strategy of the hotel, and manage the departments’ adherence to achieving that strategy;
- Report on a weekly/monthly basis appointments, calls made, and list of business leads;
- Communicate with all departments as required within each hotel;
- Build strong, long lasting customer relationships by assuring the qualitative services deliveries;
- Negotiate room rates/packages with corporate clients;
- Maximise all Revenue opportunities;
- Attend Sales events when required;
- Identify emerging B2B markets and market potential while being fully aware of our products and competitive services;
- Present periodical sales plans & reports and realistic forecasts to the management team;

Requirements:
- Industry;
- Proven ability to creating new business opportunities;
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and Opera Sales;
- Minimum of 2 year Sales experience in 4* or 5* Hotel property;
- Assertive, professional and positive with a proven ability to develop in a team environment;
- Must be able to work independently and maintain a positive attitude within a very busy environment;
- Minimum 3 years’ experience. Channel partner handling & networking skills are highly mandatory;
- Strong interpersonal skills;
- Previous experience in sales role with the ability to close a sale;
- Excellent organisational and planning skills;
- Excellent grooming standards;
- Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations;
- Positive attitude and good communication skills;
