Our company is looking for a Assistant Manager Demand Planning to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to balance priorities across multiple internal and external partners;
  • Adapts quickly to computer applications & systems and is proficient in MS Office Suite of products;
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly and leverage systems and information to influence others;
  • Strong understanding of SCM Planning process, Demand (Top & Bottoms up) approaches;
  • Focused to run the operations (SCM Analytics) and own the SLAs. Ensure on time, accurate deliverables while steering/providing mentorship to the team;
  • Conceptual understanding in areas such as Forecasting, Classification, Simulation and optimization using various approaches is required;
  • Ability to lead a team with a continuous improvement mind-set;
  • Strong Process Development, Improvement and Implementation experience;
  • Good to have exposure/experience in Supply chain planning platform like SAP, Oracle etc.

Requirements:

  • Monitor SKU levels and recommend SKU rationalization initiatives in the future;
  • Support team in Adhoc requests/statistical analysis/reporting and projects;
  • Relating and measuring the impact of forecast accuracy;
  • Continuously improving forecasting techniques, method, and approach towards optimizing inventory and their distribution;
  • Suggesting ideas to improve existing process;
  • Indicate trend changes and exceptions on case-to-case basis and intensify appropriately;
  • Perform monthly and quarterly statistical forecasting and perform various significant analysis & reporting as the need arises by business time to time;
  • A good learner to grasp & learn the various tools used in the process;
  • Proactive person with an eye for detail and passion for improving existing processes;
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, schedule driven, collaborative environment.
