Our company is looking for a Assistant Manager – Data Scientist to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Importing and transforming data for Business Intelligence;
- Deploying analytics solutions and enable tracking of business outcomes;
- Must be proficient with SQL and Tableau, experience writing SQL queries and stored procedures;
- Develop and execute database queries and conduct analysis;
- Ensuring Quality through compliance to framework, architecture and coding standards;
- Support regular monthly/quarterly reporting with ability to build new reports using the data;
- Project Management, Mentoring Junior members in the team and Client Interaction;
- Must be efficient in front-end development and know visualization standard methodologies;
- Very good interpersonal skills; must be able to discuss the requirements optimally with client teams, internal team members;
- Specialist in visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using Tableau;
- Responsible for Model Migration;
- Selecting features, building and optimizing classifiers using machine learning techniques;
- Expertise in creation of data dictionary, data merges, build datasets to be used by other team members in the team;
- Hands on programming languages like R or Python is good to have.
Requirements:
- Should possess good interpersonal skills;
- Good applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc;
- Mathematics and Statistical Background;
- Extensive Experience with Analytics products and solutions;
- Communicate with clients on day-to-day basis to discuss project progress;
- Predictive Analytics – Hands-on experience in AI and Machine Learning;
- Graduate or post graduate (in any field);
- Knowledge on Agile methodology;
- Ability to encourage and inspire change in technology application;
- Experience in relational and NoSQL Databases;
- Passion for technology and a keen learner to stay abreast on what’s latest;
- A flexible, dedicated and solution orientated approach through periods of change and disruption;
- Very good scripting and programming skills necessary to build and efficient and streamlined process/environment;
- High level of intellectual curiosity about the use of data engineering and Analytics;
- Experience with Hadoop, Spark.
