Staff Nurse Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Staff Nurse to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- monitoring and administering medication and intravenous infusions;
- assessing and planning nursing care requirements;
- taking patient samples, pulses, temperatures and blood pressures;
- Responsible for nursing care and provide an individual attention;
- Providing pre- and post-operation care,tracheotomy care, NG tube feeding etc;
- The nurse is responsible for the medical and emotional well-being of her patients;
- We provide 24 hours service. So one should be ready to work in shifts at our facility for 12 hours;
- writing records;
- The nurse is required to provide total patient care in compliance to nursing manuals/protocols at all circumstances while on duty.
Requirements:
- Stamina;
- Qualification and Education – BSc-Nursing / GNM/ANM;
- Excellent teamwork and people skills;
- Good health and fitness;
- Observational skills;
- Ability to deal with emotionally charged and pressured situations;
- verbal and written communication skills;
- Resilience;
- Caring and compassionate nature;
- Ability to use initiative;
- Experience required – 3 – 6 Yrs and minimum one year of ICU critical care experience;
- Nursing and empathy towards the patient.
