Our company is looking for a Software Design Engineer III to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to quality/regulatory process needs;
- Consult with development team in planning, estimating and allocating resources appropriately;
- Participate in regular meetings to support development team and processes, as appropriate;
- Responsible for traceability of requirements;
- Prioritize release/sprint backlog;
- Have an effective collaboration with partners which helps in effective project delivery;
- Create non-functional requirements as need be;
- Actively participate/lead DRB meetings as applicable;
- Study competitive offerings in the market and anticipate client or market needs;
- Requirements elicitation, documentation and lifecycle management. Work with stakeholders to bring consensus on requirements if need be;
- Develop and maintain holistic solution risk control documentation;
- Effective backlog grooming with the SCRUM team;
- First point of contact for analyzing sustenance issues in projects as applicable.
Requirements:
- Overall 4-7yrs experience;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills;
- Experience working on medical applications or other highly regulated application domains;
- Strong verbal, documentation and communication skills;
- Experience in conducting CCB (Change Control Board), DRB (Defect Review Board) meetings;
- Ability to work with cross-functional and remote teams;
- BS/MS in Engineering or equivalent experience;
- Well versed in translating the product requirements into user stories (vertical slicing) and writing proper acceptance criteria;
- Good understanding of software development processes, preferably for a regulated medical devices environment or HealthCare domain;
- Experience with Agile development environments;
- Experience with developing and/or maintaining/sustaining products that are composed of both software and hardware;
- Influence Skill and Presentation Skill;
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills;
- At least 1 year of experience as a Product Owner or Proxy Product Owner. Worked in at least one project life cycle as a product owner;
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills with a pragmatic approach.
