Our company is looking for a Project Manager R & D to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Keeps up to date on overall activities of the team, monitors progress, identifies critical path and takes corrective actions;
  • Recognises team efforts and keeps the team morale up;
  • Drives identification of project scope, coordinates with stakeholders to identify goals, time frame, resources and budget;
  • Manages projects of moderate to high complexity, spanning multiple engineering disciplines;
  • Conducts regular meetings with project teams / stakeholders as required;
  • Flexible to overlap couple of hours with US timezone;
  • Accountable for on-time execution as well as overall success of projects;
  • Open to expresses thoughts and ideas to individuals and executives; articulates clearly and checks for understanding;
  • Develops, tracks, maintains and manages project planning, budget and timeline;
  • Responsible for identifying dependencies, mitigates risk and removes project impediments;
  • Flexible to dedicate whatever time is necessary to learn business processes and product applications;
  • Manages multiple projects / assignments in parallel;
  • Effectively negotiates and collaborates with cross functional teams and leaders;
  • Responsible for driving and taking informed decisions related to critical project activities;
  • Actively support the team to mitigate impediments and achieve sprint / release goals.

Requirements:

  • Excellent facilitation, oral and written communication skills;
  • Excellent knowledge of SDLC / Software Engineering practices, basic principles, concepts etc;
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize, track, facilitate and track projects using applicable tools;
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills;
  • A self- starter who can work well independently with minimal supervision;
  • Can do attitude, with a proven record of delivering project outcomes with good stakeholder feedback;
  • Strong stakeholder management, relationship building and influencing skills;
  • Knowledge of medical device and/or pharmecutical industry in terms of process, organization, product and complex requirements;
  • Working experience with other Agile methodologies Kanban, LEAN, PP;
  • Applied knowledge of Microsoft office applications;
  • Ability to coordinate multiple assignments in parallel;
  • Effective presentation skills;
  • 8-10 years of total experience in engineering discipline;
  • PMP training or knowledge;
  • Proficiency working with complex systems and matrixed organizations.
