Oracle DBA Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Oracle DBA to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate results to multiple stakeholders as required;
- Analyze features and workflows to identify high-risk areas and design a test strategy with detailed test plan and test cases;
- Run manual testing as required;
- Setup databases for Testing and Development;
- Contribute as part of the engineering team on incoming customer escalation resolution;
- Design and implement test automation in Python, and plan the work required to achieve this.
Requirements:
- 2+ years’ experience with configuration management tools like Ansible/Puppet/Chef etc;
- Ability to think clearly and articulate your vision to others of varying technical understanding;
- 1+ years experience working with Oracle Multitenant databases;
- Minimum undergraduate college/university degree in computer science;
- Comfortable coding in one of the scripting languages like Perl/Python etc;
- 5+ years’ experience in Oracle Database Administration.
