MySQL Database Developer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a MySQL Database Developer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Optimize and upgrade current Katabat core reports;
- Work with Product colleagues to implement and enhance the data warehouse and client reporting solution;
- Work closely with Engineering and DBA Teams to design and implement optimal solutions (query performance tuning, etc.);
- Work closely with the business team to design and implement ad hoc reports;
- Provide maintenance and support for Client reporting solution;
- Troubleshooting the reporting database environment and reports.
Requirements:
- Proficient in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries;
- Experience with ETL tools (Talend, etc.);
- Must have schedule flexibility to support a global client and colleague base;
- Experience with Data Warehouse and BI Tools (Tableau, Looker. etc.);
- Must be ready to support environments remotely while on on-call;
- Unix shell scripting and the ability to automate routine tasks;
- 3+ years’ hands on experience in report development;
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related IT field preferred;
- Experience with cloud-based self-service reporting solutions.
