Junior Software Development Engineer [Internship] Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Junior Software Development Engineer [Internship] to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Investigate, document and resolve client requests and software issues;
- Participate actively in code reviews and code improvement;
- Conduct unit and package tests of software to ensure level of quality;
- Maintain existing software products for clients;
- Actively participate in the software engineering lifecycle process;
- Manage the internal source control and other engineering tools;
- Develop Msoft products within the in-house software team.
Requirements:
- SQL skills, with Knowledge in a SQL extension such as PL/SQL highly desirable;
- Degree in engineering or Master of Computer Science;
- Knowledge of SDLC, programming languages, including Java or C++ is highly desirable;
- Knowledge of Struts or Spring frameworks, Bootstrap, Angular JS will be added advantage;
- Knowledge of using a modern JavaScript framework or jQuery and HTML5, CSS3, Cloud Computing would be highly beneficial;
- Self-starter with strong initiative and an ability to independently learn new technologies;
- Exposure to a commercial RDBMS such as Oracle or MySQL or SQL Server;
- Strong technical skills in the areas of software design and development with an eye for design layout and usability.
