Application Support Engineer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Application Support Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide first level Technical Support to the clients in USA;
- Manage issue resolution by providing solution from a remote location or by accessing the user’s desktop;
- RCA documentation and Issue resolution documentation;
- Record escalation from employees and notify Development and QC team for required changes in application;
- Troubleshoot application login, user profile set up and software related issues;
- Troubleshoot issues/queries raised by operational teams related to application.
Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Graduate with 15+ Years of full time education from a Recognized University;
- 1-5 years of experience in Technical/Application support position;
- Knowledge about Software testing will be an added advantage;
- Flexible with work timings (24 x 5);
- Candidate should have the experience of Application Support/Oracle Database Support/ Server Support (Windows);
- Should be able to manage and prioritize multiple work requirements to meet deadlines;
- Should be able to work independently and in a team environment;
- IT-Software / Software Services;
- Should be self-managed, responsive and dedicated to customer support;
- Should have good grasping of new technology;
- Fluent in oral and written communications in English language;
- Experience in Hotel Operations for IT segment;
- Good network and server knowledge (Level: Basic);
- Industry.
