Project Manager-Bid support Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Project Manager-Bid support to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage & coordinate virtual bid teams and inputs from a variety of stakeholders;
- Be an internal source of expertise in the Bid responses and qualification process and respond swiftly and concisely to any questions or queries;
- Support and mentor team members, where needed;
- Regularly update Project Managers in client-service offices on project progress;
- Establish project governance contact points with the client-service offices;
- Report project progress and anticipate risks;
- Attend internal meetings as a representative as and when required;
- Experience in reading and understanding technical and functional specifications.
Requirements:
- Management of globally distributed project delivery teams;
- Software expertise – JIRA, Confluence, Office 365, Smartsheets, MS Project;
- Experience of working in a decoupled environment and collaborating effectively with other third party agencies;
- Passion for and understanding of internet technologies is as must;
- 5+ years of experience in project management;
- Experience in Bid management process.
