Corporate – Asset Pricing – Associate Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Corporate – Asset Pricing – Associate to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze price movements against market news and expectations;
- Complete all daily, monthly, and ad-hoc tasks and reporting as required accurately and to deadline;
- Ad-hoc project work as directed;
- Contribute to ongoing developments of the pricing control process;
- Liaise with pricing vendor to resolve issues and minimize risk;
- Participate and present in client monthly meetings;
- Resolve client (Global Index Research Group) queries promptly and professionally;
- Prepare and send daily pricing and market impact summaries with supporting market news;
- Monitor systems for related job success and resolve issues by working with technology teams;
- Daily third-party price capture & validation of bond prices versus multiple market sources;
- Escalate all issues promptly and effectively to supervisor.
Requirements:
- Liaise with pricing vendor to resolve issues and minimize risk;
- Contribute to ongoing developments of the pricing control process;
- 6-9 years asset pricing, fund accounting, middle office, or operations experience;
- Pricing vendor knowledge, i.e. Bloomberg, Reuters a plus;
- Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate within a team environment and interact across departments;
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and time series data a plus;
- Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast paced environment;
- Analyze price movements against market news and expectations;
- Participate and present in client monthly meetings;
- Demonstrate customer focus and follow-up skills;
- Strong database/SQL knowledge a plus;
- Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel skills, including pivot tables and v-look ups;
- Resolve client (Global Index Research Group) queries promptly and professionally;
- The role holder will be required to operate flexible working hours to cover early starts and/or late finishes as demanded by the business;
- Daily third-party price capture & validation of bond prices versus multiple market sources.
