Business Analyst – Forecasting & Parts Inventory Management Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Business Analyst – Forecasting & Parts Inventory Management to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Analysis of inventory movement on a month on month basis and check on parts which have deviated from previous trends;
- Upload order acknowledgements from suppliers with notes specifying the status of the delivery in Oracle;
- Excess Inventory comparison from week to week;
- Resolve queries on customer orders or FE orders for all regions globally to the OM (Order Management) team in India, Sweden and North America;
- Dashboards which shows inventory defects in terms of quantity and value and their graphical representation;
- Review demand/consumption analysis and set-up planning parameters – safety stock, MOQ, etc;
- Demantra forecasting review and highlight gaps to S&OP team for approval/correction;
- Creating Purchase Orders and follow up with external suppliers if orders need to be expedited;
- Planners Scorecard that shows how each planner is managing stocks and requisitions.
Requirements:
- Good Knowledge of Oracle R12 (for Planning);
- Certification in Supply Chain Management and familiar with terms in Inventory Management;
- Knowledge of Oracle Demantra application for forecasting;
- Good working knowledge of MS –Office/Excel;
- Extremely good interpersonal skills;
- Quick on responses and innovative thinking in data representation;
- Graduate in any stream.
