Responsibilities:

  • Preparing budgets regularly;
  • Monitoring expenditure and profits and providing reports;
  • Evaluating internal management systems, procedures and risks in order to provide recommendations;
  • Managing business accounts and preparing financial statements;
  • Maintaining and reviewing financial records;
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting and tax laws;
  • Generate financial reports for review regulatory authorities;
  • Make regular contact with clients to ensure payment;
  • Ensure company financial accounts, such as credit cards, are paid on time;
  • Review both incoming and outgoing invoices;
  • Handle account inquiries from internal and external sources;
  • Process accounts payable and receivable, depending on role;
  • Utilize database software to organize financial account information;
  • Perform internal audits on financial activities as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented;
  • Strong math and critical reasoning skills;
  • Familiarity with productivity tools, including Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Strong organizational skills;
  • Account Officer;
  • 10+ years of experience in Accounting;
  • A Certified Public Accountant title is preferred;
  • Bachelors or higher degree in Accounting or Finance;
  • Experience using accounting software, such as Tally;
  • Prior experience working with financial accounts;
  • Quick to collaborate and coordinate with team members when necessary;
  • Master’s degree in business administration or account preferred;
  • Experience using accounting software, such as Quickbooks and Quicken.
