UX Designer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a UX Designer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to work with clients to understand detailed requirements and design to complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision;
- Ability to apply iterative process to your designs and solutions in an efficient and intelligent manner;
- Instill UX design best practices to design solutions, including but not limited to mobile-first and responsive design;
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders;
- Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images;
- Continuous social listening through twitter, github and zendesk to better understand how people use Postman;
- Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders;
- Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences;
- Advocate and be the voice of Cisco’s customers in the product development process;
- Designing Tools: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Macromedia Flash, Dream weaver and Adobe In design;
- Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features;
- Leading by Influence: communication with client and client’s customers and persuasive;
- Work with the Engineering team to ensure technical business needs are met while maintaining a solid focus on the user experience;
- Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets;
- Set company standards for product usability,and look and feel.
Requirements:
- Team player who is open to sharing knowledge and learning as a team;
- Ability to fulfill, facilitate, and lead any or all UX/IA duties on a given project;
- Must have strong analytical and creative problem solving skills;
- Ability to work well independently or within a team, especially cross-functional teams;
- Proficient in Sketch App, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other design tools;
- Any Graduate with studies in User Experience Designer/HFI Certified Usability Analyst (CUA) HFI Certified User Experience Analyst (CXA);
- Interaction Design Principles;
- Form Design best practices;
- Be passionate about resolving user pain points through great design;
- Analytical mind with a business acumen;
- Communication skills;
- A passion for design with a strong opinion about aesthetics;
- Experience delivering sitemaps, wireframes, flow diagrams and other IA materials;
- UX research;
- Proven experience in UX Design, UI Design or a similar role.
