Customer Engineer for Startups Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Customer Engineer for Startups to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with various Azure Engineering domain experts to scope and build modules, tools and proof of concepts;
- Conduct Architectural Design Sessions and workshops to advise startups on design, development and deployment;
- Maintain knowledge of the latest on Azure and Microsoft Cloud innovations to conduct experiments, drive product improvement;
- Translate business goals into technical needs with knowledge of ISV, startup and subscription-based business models;
- Share knowledge through solution documents, technical communities, self-help solutions and training;
- Interact daily with other FTA Engineers to provide technical action plans or take ownership of escalations;
- Validate new solutions and proofs of concept; update modules per findings and feedback.
Requirements:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check every two years;
- Experience and knowledge of cloud development and deployment tools (PowerShell, Visual Studio, .NET, AzureCLI);
- Results driven and adaptable; thrives in a fast-paced ambiguous environment;
- An analytical mindset, with a systemic approach to measuring success;
- Consulting and/or Delivery experience;
- Real day-to-day startup or ISV customer-facing experience and empathy;
- Interest in contributing to a diverse and inclusive team; demonstrated ability to have fun.
