VML - Salesforce Commerce Cloud Technical Architect

Description :We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Technical Architect to lead architecture, design, and technical delivery for enterprise-scale ecommerce implementations and support engagements. The candidate should possess strong expertise in SFCC B2C architecture, integrations, performance optimization, and solution design, along with the ability to guide development teams and collaborate with business stakeholders.Key Responsibilities :- Lead end-to-end technical architecture and solution design for SFCC B2C Commerce projects.- Define scalable, secure, and high-performance ecommerce solutions aligned with business requirements.- Review and govern technical designs, code quality, and implementation best practices.- Drive integrations with third-party systems such as OMS, CRM, Payment Gateways, ERP, PIM, Loyalty, and Marketing platforms.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business, QA, DevOps, and Product Owners.- Perform technical estimations, solution reviews, and risk assessments.- Support production issue resolution, performance optimization, and platform stability initiatives.- Mentor and guide developers and technical leads across projects.- Ensure adherence to SFCC best practices, coding standards, and release governance.- Participate in client discussions, architecture workshops, and technical roadmap planning.Required Skills :- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware / SFCC B2C).- Expertise in SFRA architecture, cartridges, controllers, ISML, OCAPI, SCAPI, hooks, and job frameworks.- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, REST APIs, and integration patterns.- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, and deployment processes.- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure and serverless integrations (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, etc.)- Prepare architecture diagrams, technical design documents, integration specifications, and solution blueprints.- Good understanding of ecommerce concepts including catalog, checkout, promotions, inventory, and order management.- Experience in performance optimization and troubleshooting.- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
