Duck Creek Billing Developer

Job Summary : We are looking for an experienced Duck Creek Billing Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in implementing and customizing Duck Creek Billing within Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance environments. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in billing configuration, integrations, and .NET development.Must-Have Skills : - 5+ years of hands-on experience with Duck Creek products, including strong expertise in Duck Creek Billing.- Experience in Duck Creek Billing configuration and customization within Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance.- Strong knowledge of : 1. Manuscripts2. Rules3. Product Studio4. Billing workflows and lifecycle management- Experience with batch processing and job scheduling.- Strong development skills in : 1. .NET / C#2. SQL Server (advanced queries and performance tuning)3. XML/XSLT- Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP Web Services.- Experience integrating Duck Creek Billing with : 1. Policy modules2. Claims modules3. Payment Gateway systems- Experience using Azure DevOps, Git, or similar version control tools.- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Good-to-Have Skills : - Experience with Duck Creek Policy integration.- Experience with Duck Creek Data Insights.- Microsoft Azure cloud deployment experience.- DevOps and CI/CD exposure.- Data migration and billing conversion project experience.- Duck Creek certification.- Agile/Scrum experience.- Knowledge of insurance regulatory and compliance requirements.- Experience with commissions, payment plans, collections, refunds, adjustments, and billing cycles.Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and configure Duck Creek Billing solutions.- Customize billing workflows, invoicing, payment plans, commissions, and collections.- Configure billing rules, write-offs, installment plans, and dunning processes.- Develop integrations using APIs, web services, and batch jobs.- Support data migration from legacy systems.- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders.- Support SIT, UAT, production deployments, and production issues.- Perform code reviews and maintain technical documentation.Education : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).Additional Requirements : - Notice Period : Immediate to 30 days preferred.- Minimum job stability of 2 years in each organization.- Hybrid work for Chennai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad-based candidates; remote option for candidates from other locations.- Shift Timing : 2 : 00 PM - 10 : 30 PM.- Must be available for a face-to-face interview if required.- Strong communication skills are mandatory.- Avoid frequent job hoppers and offer shoppers.- Candidates should be available for interview coordination within 24-72 hours and share 2-3 interview slots.- Official notice period, Last Working Day (if applicable), and early joining possibility should be confirmed before submission.
