Data Governance Specialist
We are seeking a Data Governance Specialist to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing data governance strategies, ensuring data quality and compliance with regulations, and collaborating with various stakeholders to promote data stewardship within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and standards.
- Monitor data quality and integrity across various data sources.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define data ownership and stewardship.
- Provide training and support to teams on data governance best practices.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of data management practices.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field.
- 10-15 years of experience in data governance, data management, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and methodologies.
- Experience with data quality tools and data profiling techniques.
- Familiarity with data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams.,
