Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer/SDET

Role : Senior QA Automation Engineer - D2C Mobile ProductsLocation : HSR Layout, Bangalore (Work from Office)Job Description : We're looking for a hands-on Senior QA Engineer with 4 to 8 years of QA/SDET experience, including at least 2 years in D2C/B2C product companies. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in test automation, mobile application testing, API testing, CI/CD integration, and backend validation while owning end-to-end product quality in fast-paced startup environments.Responsibilities : - Own end-to-end quality for consumer-facing mobile applications.- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks.- Build automated test suites for web, mobile, and APIs.- Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines for faster releases.- Perform functional, regression, exploratory, and integration testing.- Validate backend services and databases to ensure application reliability.- Partner with Product and Engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.- Drive release readiness, defect analysis, and quality improvements.- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote automation best practices.Requirements : - 4 to 8 years of QA/SDET experience in product companies.- Minimum 2 years of experience testing D2C/B2C consumer applications (Mandatory).- Strong hands-on expertise in Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or similar automation frameworks.- Experience with API testing, CI/CD pipelines, SQL/database validation, and mobile application testing.- Good understanding of Agile methodologies and release processes.- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.- Experience in high-growth startups or high-traffic consumer products is highly preferred.#QAAutomation #SDET #D2CJobs #MobileTesting #ProductEngineering #HiringBangalore (ref:hirist.tech)
