Power BI Lead

Job Description :Key Responsibilities :- Lead the end-to-end development and delivery of Power BI dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions.- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.- Design scalable data models using Star and Snowflake schemas.- Develop advanced DAX measures, KPIs, and Power Query transformations.- Define BI architecture, best practices, and governance standards.- Lead report optimization initiatives to improve performance and user experience.- Manage Power BI Service, Workspaces, Apps, Gateways, Deployment Pipelines, and Row-Level Security (RLS).- Work closely with Data Engineering teams to integrate data from multiple enterprise systems.- Conduct code reviews and mentor developers on Power BI best practices.- Lead production deployments, troubleshooting, and support activities.- Drive stakeholder communication, project planning, and delivery timelines.- Ensure compliance with data quality, security, and governance policies.Required Skills :- 8 - 12 years of experience in Business Intelligence, with at least 5+ years of hands-on Power BI development.- Strong expertise in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, and Power Query (M Language).- Advanced SQL skills, including query optimization, stored procedures, and views.- Strong knowledge of data modeling, dimensional modeling, and data warehousing concepts.- Experience with ETL processes and enterprise reporting solutions.- Hands-on experience with Power BI Gateway, Deployment Pipelines, Workspaces, Apps, and Row-Level Security (RLS).- Experience leading technical teams and mentoring developers.- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Skills :- Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL, or Azure Data Lake.- Knowledge of SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, or Databricks.- Exposure to Python or R for advanced analytics.- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.- Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate or Fabric Analytics certifications are preferred.Qualifications :- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.- Proven experience leading enterprise BI implementations and managing cross-functional teams.
