Infosys - Principal Architect - Solution Integration

Responsibilities : As a Principal Architect, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and integration of solutions across assigned technological platforms. You will work under the guidance of the Distinguished Architect/ Architect Fellow to ensure alignment with enterprise architectural strategy and business objectives. The Principal Architect is expected to collaborate closely with engineering teams, product stakeholders, and other architects to deliver scalable, resilient, and secure solutions.The Principal Architect will be responsible for : - Leading the architecture and design of solutions within assigned platforms or programs, ensuring alignment to established enterprise architecture and strategy.- Collaborating with the Distinguished Architect and contributing to execution of architectural strategy across Company Platforms.- Providing design input, technical direction, and architectural guidance to engineering teams and delivery pods.- Supporting consistent architectural patterns and standards across solutions in coordination with other Principal Architects.- Translating product and solution requirements into scalable architecture designs aligned with enterprise technology vision.- Contributing to prototype development, solution validation, and architectural reviews.- Participating in Architecture Review Board discussions and providing inputs on solution feasibility and compliance.- Implementing architecture controls and contributing to governance, risk management, and compliance for AI platforms.- Ensuring adherence to enterprise architecture principles including resilience, observability, and security across assigned initiatives.- Supporting engineering teams in adopting modern architecture patterns including microservices, cloud-native design, and API-first integration.Required Qualifications : - 10 to 12+ years of working experience in web development or solutions architecture.- Experience designing and delivering customer-facing or enterprise applications.- Experience implementing technological enhancements or solution transformations.- Strong understanding of DevOps practices (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).- Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, Angular/React/Vue).- Experience with cloud platforms and infrastructure development.- Experience working with databases.- Experience building scalable, highly available, and cloud-native applications.- Experience with API-driven architectures and system integration.- Ability to design resilient architectures and modernize legacy systems to microservices-based patterns.- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.- Experience in at least 23 of the following areas : Infrastructure, Security, DevOps, Application Development, Database technologies, Cloud computing.AI Platform & Technical Skills : Candidates should demonstrate knowledge and hands-on experience across the following enterprise AI architecture competencies : AI Platform & Model Access : - Designing model consumption patterns (API, AI gateway, vendor managed AI).- Understanding centralized vs embedded model access.- Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, provider-embedded AI (Salesforce, ServiceNow, Microsoft co-pilot studio).AI Platform Architecture & MLOps : - Enterprise RAG architecture patterns; least privilege and RBAC enforcement.- Azure Entra ID / AWS IAM patterns; prompt-injection defenses.- Data leakage prevention, output filtering & moderation, jailbreak detection.- PII detection and redaction; openness to candidates from other regulated industries such as healthcare and insurance.Education and Certifications : - Required : Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline.- Preferred : Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related discipline.
